Your Future Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Expand your network of clients and prospects through proactive outreach.
  • Organize and lead client meetings to showcase our expertise and enhance your project portfolio; ensure effective follow-up on your projects.
  • Negotiate with clients and purchasing departments.
  • Respond to RFPs and coordinate team efforts for complex proposals.
  • Convert initial contact with new clients into a "Preferred Supplier" status.
  • Collaborate closely with other Business Managers to share best practices and maximize opportunities.

Internal Development:

  • Identify and engage potential candidates using various networking tools (LinkedIn, eFinancial, Monster, etc.) and your personal networks.
  • Conduct interviews and encourage high-potential candidates to join the team.
  • Negotiate salary packages for new hires.

Management:

  • Oversee your consultant team, ensuring their financial knowledge is current and organizing training sessions; conduct annual reviews and project follow-ups.
  • Enhance your consultants' development, well-being, and engagement within the company.
  • Provide insights on internal structure, processes, best practices, and strategic initiatives.

Your Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • A keen interest in learning about various sectors, products, and market trends, without needing to be an expert.
  • Native Dutch or French speaker, with at least a good passive understanding of the other language, plus professional English proficiency.
  • Client-focused attitude with strong communication skills directed at business management.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: based in Brussels but open to opportunities in other countries, with a creative approach to entering new markets, clients, and partnerships.
  • Dynamic, diplomatic, persuasive, and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Strong analytical and creative abilities.
  • Initial experience or a strong interest in business development or sales is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a business manager in a consulting firm is a significant advantage.
