Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join our team based in Croatia. Reporting to the Sales Area Manager, your primary responsibility will be identifying and securing new business opportunities across Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Bulgaria. You'll promote our client's cutting-edge solutions designed for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Market Research: Proactively identify business opportunities and develop a partner network across Eastern Europe.
- Client Acquisition: Engage with prospects to assess their needs and offer tailored GRMS and EMS solutions, supported by our presales team.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare impactful presentations, including case studies, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales metrics to ensure targets and profit margins are consistently met.
- Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in technical sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the hospitality industry, including market trends and competitive landscapes.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with smart systems, including lighting, HVAC, access control, API integration, and property management systems (BMS, PMS, EMS, GRMS).
- CRM Skills: Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
- Key Strengths: Strong planning, time management, and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Preferred: Prior experience in technical sales for smart systems in hospitality or residential sectors, with an established client portfolio.
